Day’s Death to Light’s Birth

Image
In the silence of the clumsy dusk, Rays of light fade and lurk. Lives found getting away, To the abodes with a soft sway.   Feeble sighs, dwindling faces, Wane like stars in the dusk-bound skies. Yells and giggles, feeble and thin, Dissolve into deep calm, where they all begin. Moments fell by, in dusk’s ever grace, Left no trace, to the mind’s darker space. Hardly found, they embraced the day, Against the long and brighter day.   Spurts of creepy dreams, woke up in haste, Bidding to fall off with the fir...

THE THOUGHT !

Image
But, from where then comes the far-flung thought; the illusive relic of a half done dream? Light peeps in like a web, and am caught- fascinated by the bright high beam. Beyond the horizons, the light dims, and can almost grab, but concealed. A Gush of wind swept away the dreams, Where the thoughts kept laboured. Becalmed the cat's paw touch of breeze, will give my sail a shake and tease. And drive me down to my knees, to pen 'it' down to its ease.  But, from where then comes the far-flung thought?  Linto...

Let Go

Image
In shadows' abyss, where secrets lie,   Time ticked away, beneath the sky,   The heart beats strong, yet sober deep,   In love's silent vigil, it silently weeps.   Confession spoken, a trembling plea,   Unveiled the truth, yet failed to see,   No echo returned, no warmth did bloom,   Just friendship's embrace, a quiet gloom.   Yet cruel whispers, they pierce the dark night,   Mocking love's dance, obscuring pale light,   Said, "You love in ways you cannot voice,   A silent scream, a hidden choice."   To quell the doubts, to stifle the jeer,   I donned a dark mask, concealing the tear,   A crush reborn, a masquerade's thoughts,   To prove my worth, to silence the faults.   But as days turned to nights, and nights to days,   Confession hung in the silent haze,   Not rejection, but gratitude's balm,   Left my heart in a qu...

When the Horizon Hides Beneath the Dusk

Image
Life takes its course through, Long , and rugged roads ahead, Leaping into the endless fields, Lazy yet focused though. Lavish times fall into slumber, Lashes of lethargy flogged me straight, Looking , found none around,  Left alone in the infinite pathways,  Loud pull and the bridles creaked, Luring the sore feet to ease up a while, Line in the sky blushed in deep mirth,  ‘ Last long…leave not,’ Languished my soul, while the clock,  Laughed at, with the horizon sinking, Light conceded to the victorious dark, Life moved on over the crimson horizon.

Broken

Bruised, cracked and parched, The wound craved while throbbed, Tricked yet tested and crushed,  And seeped the grace,  Deep within…’Life spurted’

"I Thirst"

Image
The crimson sky wore a dark veil, Hushing even the women in their birth pangs. There seen the array of wailing women, Sobbing, yet feeble and faint, For their last ray of hope that dwindling on the Cross.  While the darkness seeped through the steep valleys, To the thatched huts and posh palaces alike. As the eerie silence engulfed the whole earth, The parched land longed beneath, Craving for a drop of living water. There erected, the Lord of the living streams, Flanked by the two, accused of theft. Opened His shattered lips and begged, “I thirst” …and so said the parched land beneath, “I thirst” …but only the sour vinegar was left. I thirst…the trembling voice resonated the horizons. The crimson gore thickened on the hard cross, While the scanty tunic tossed in the dark gale, Till the last drop paved its way down, Though the parched land refused to gulp, The murky drips that fell off the Cross.   Still heard the feeble voile said…” I thirst...” The Lord or the Land?...

Life

Image
From morning’s icy embrace, the world sets aglow, While life’s testing loops begin to show. Creator’s brush smears the hue, Painting the time, fresh and anew.   Laughter and tears that ever fall, While the life weaves its tale, on its wall. Life’s span rushes to it’s deep, Crediting me with a profound weep.   Trivial yet, the whispers of every cold breeze, Puts me in the state of relentless ease. Veiling my thoughts in every breath, With the dunes of hope that lies beneath. The dawn’s kiss, elates my spirit forever, To live, and move on with more fervour. Life handcuffed the time, with the dawn’s embrace, While the wheels of life roll on its steady pace.   Linto...
