When the Horizon Hides Beneath the Dusk
Life takes its course through,
Long, and rugged roads ahead,
Leaping into the endless fields,
Lazy yet focused though.
Lavish times fall into slumber,
Lashes of lethargy flogged me straight,
Looking, found none around,
Left alone in the infinite pathways,
Loud pull and the bridles creaked,
Luring the sore feet to ease up a while,
Line in the sky blushed in deep mirth,
‘Last long…leave not,’
Languished my soul, while the clock,
Laughed at, with the horizon sinking,
Light conceded to the victorious dark,
Life moved on over the crimson horizon.
"Your poem beautifully captures the resilience of the human spirit, reminding us that even in the darkest times, there is always hope and light ahead. Truly inspiring and thought-provoking!"
